Receptionist Team Member

Position Overview

Allpets at Pickerington is looking to add a full or part-time member to our receptionist team! Allpets is a growing, newly renovated, three doctor, small animal practice. We offer complete veterinary care, boarding, and grooming for cats, dogs, and pocket pets.

Primary duties of the receptionist include greeting arriving clients/patients and beginning the check-in process for appointments, concluding invoices and collecting payments from clients, checking in/out boarding and grooming patients, answering phones, taking detailed messages, and relaying information for the medical staff, managing the appointment/reservation schedule, verifying vaccine and diagnostic requirements for boarding and grooming appointments, end-of-day financial reporting, and using our electronic charting, reservation, and scheduling software system. Our receptions are often the first and last interactions for each visit. We want our clients and patients to receive friendly, compassionate, and thorough care from beginning to end. Allpets is looking for a pet-savvy, friendly personality to support our clients and medical/pet care staff to create the best experience for all our guests. If you are self-motivated, adept at organization and planning, and able to calmly multitask during busy times, we can’t wait to meet you.

Allpets is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm. Our pay is competitive and commensurate with experience.
